Harrison - The Suburb in the district of Gungahlin

Harrison is a suburb Canberra in the district of Gungahlin in, Australia. The suburb was named after the earlier city developer Peter Harrison, who was also instrumental in revitalizing Walter Burley Griffin's plan for the Australian Capital. The suburb is nearby to the suburbs of Gungahlin, Franklin, Kenny, Throsby and the industrial park Mitchell. Harrison's name mirrors some of those natural features like plains, waterfalls, flatlands and plateaux. The suburb is situated about 2 km east of the centre of Gungahlin Town and approximately 10 km from the centre of Capital City Canberra.

The population of the suburb of Harrison has increased by three quarters in last five years of a short time, with a construction boom in unit lodgings spurring on the quick rise. The Suburb has many attractions for visitors from vibrant markets, huge green lands to numerous famous cafes and restaurants. Few which I have been to are mentioned here.

The name of this street sounds as the zone has fascinating caves to discover, but unfortunately, there is nothing like the name suggests but this is because of the most of the streets are named in Harrison is inspired by nature.
